Inspired by the emblematic sculpture of the 1951 Festival of Britain, Skylon is a stylish restaurant on a grand scale, with formal dining room, smart casual grill and centerpiece bar, each a blend of 1950's-inspired chic and modern design, all with sweeping Thames panoramas through floor-to-ceiling windows. Skylon is an excellent venue to entertain friends from out of Town. It is easy to find, has a central location and cabs are abundant in nearby streets. The venue has spectatcular views of the River; the service is impeccable and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The ambiance is wonderful - glamorous and sophisticated. The food and wine are beautifully presented, right down to the home made petis fours. We'll be back ...
To enjoy the best of Skylon it's best to book in advance and get a table overlooking the river. However any dining experience, in any seat at Skylon would be top notch. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely meal with an excellent view of the river from our table. The service was very good, though the wines were quite expensive.
Ate at Skylon from the special menu - all in all 2 courses each with 2 glasses of wine + extra desert + cocktail and a most amazing view for £71. Service and food outstanding - highly recommended.
A good find for good quality meal
Skylon has outstanding views across the Thames from the window tables. Food is very good & well presented.
