Pricey, For Die Hard Fans Only

A little pricey ay £6 per person for what it was. Having read some some sherlock I enjoyed it, but friend only knew of him and did not! A cute house non the less

I visited the Sherlock Holmes Museum yesterday and I have to say that I found it absolutely enchanting.

The museum is set up as Sherlock Holmes house and has 3 floors of displays and exhibits. You can also meet Dr Watson and get a photo opportunity that lets you dress up as Sherlock Holmes himself.

Unlike a lot of the attractions I've visited in London very few of the exhibits were in glass cases which really added to the homely feel. Admittedly some items (such as the waxworks) looked a little outdated but to me that only added to the charm. At £6 per adult I think its well worth a visit!!

As other visitors have said, the museum also has an absolutely amazing gift shop which is also great to spend some time in!

If you are into Sherlock Holmes this is a place to see and it will be an enjoyable experience. The people who did not genhoy it clealry were not in the spirit of what it is. They do not pertend to be fancy and they are not. However, it is a lot of fun and a memory.

For those of you who are fans of Arthur Conan Doyle's stories of Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. John Watson, the attraction is a must. It's not really at 221B, but it's as close as you're gonna get. With several story references and "memorabilia" from the stories, the museum is almost like a big quiz for Holmes fans, by trying to guess from which story each article came from. Plus, a nice gift shop as well.

Absolute waste of money!

The Sherlock Holmes Museum is a complete waste of time, money and space. Can't believe the amount they charge to let you into a dingy, smelly, boring little house with little significance or style. The shop was the best part and doesnt cost you. Would be better off just skipping the whole thing though. London has so much more to offer than this!
