The British Music Experience lets you record songs and dance videos, flick through virtual record collections, feel the rush of being in the crowd at classic gigs, perform at a virtual concert and get close to music memorabilia.

Music fans of the younger generation can get into the British Music Experience absolutely free this October half term.

There's plenty for budding music historians to get their teeth into – including tracing the history of musical trends and learning about the influence music has had on art, politics and fashion.
