Renowned for its Indie, Rock and Soul gigs, The Forum was built in 1934 and was originally an Art Deco cinema. Balcony and free-standing areas are available. Admission is by ticket only. They also have a snack bar and are also licensed to sell alcohol.

A grand night out with Graham Parker and the Rumour. A most welcome blast from the past. The Forum was a good choice of venue ... enough room to strut our stuff, enough red wine to keep us dancing and a loud but not deafening sound system. We would definitely come back another time. Más información
I love Birmingham, as well you might know, but a lot of the stranger/more specialist bands that I love just don't come to the Midlands. They go to the Capital where, I guess, you're going to get a larger crowd come along to your gigs.
I have only ever been to The Forum twice. Once (many, many moons ago) to see the Swedish Electro outfit The Knife and the second time was a couple of weeks ago... Más información
A really nice gig venue. a descent bar and a great, wide stage for a good vantage point if you want to be near the front, and some steps up at the back so theres a good chance of getting a good views. Large seated area upstairs too. Más información
I saw The Shins here and was really pleased with several aspects of the venue!
Things I always worry about when I go to music venues:
-The pain of standing the whole time.
-The intense heat.
-Ease of experience/convenience.
HMV forum pretty much knocked it out of the park in all of these respects! We got the unreserved seating tickets on the top level and easily got to sit... Más información

Security - friendly and efficient. Line to get in and have a looksie in bags went quickly and without gruffness/rudeness.
Bag check - available but didn't use it.
View - We got in a bit late so were stuck at the back. There's a raised up back area with a metal rail across - you want to be right behind that rail if you want a decent view without being up... Más información
