The quintessential Covent Garden rendezvous, the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Mercer Street effortlessly blends with the boutique appeal of its neighbourhood. A landmark in Seven Dials village, this is a chic retreat on the doorstep of London’s most celebrated theatres, its beautifully designed rooms equipped with next-generation technology.
Boasting 137 bedrooms, eight luxurious suites with dressing rooms and Union-Jack design SMEG fridges, the most up-to-date Apple TV technology in every room and free WiFi throughout, the hotel is the perfect place to work, rest and play.
Quirky features also include Japanese-style “Bento Boxes”, served at lunchtime to delegates. There is also a fitness room for those wanting to work off a few pounds.
The heart of the hotel lies the Scoff & Banter restaurant serving up British food the way it should be. A modern bar and restaurant perfect for pre-theatre dining and post-theatre drinking.

To get to my room, it was walk through a narrow hall, go up and down some steps with head ducked, and then into the hotter than hades room with a lovely view of the alley (actually a street that looks like an alley).

Arriving very early in the morning my room was not ready yet but reception staff were happy to take care of my bag while getting the room...more
