Euston Station was only a short taxi ride from our hotel. It was a nice train station with lots of yummy options for breakfast and coffee. We didn't have a ton of time before the train left, so I just snagged an espresso and a croissant, both of which were really tasty. Well now Euston, you do a good enough job of providing a way to get out of London, but you could smile once in a while. No?

OK, Euston Station might not be the most beautiful station in London but boy is the location handy as it is a quick walk to Kings Cross, Euston is not just a tube stop on a map but a train station (for you foreigners) which means it can get very busy indeed.

Euston Station is big, old and busy. A station to station sort of place with little room to hangout or sit down unless you use one of the coffee shops there. Here's some tips.

1. Use the national rail website to get a heads up on your platform before it's announced! It sure beats fighting off the hordes for a seat.
