Stansted Airport by Rail

Stansted Express is the quickest way into Central London. Trains leave Stansted Airport from 6am to 11.59pm (from 5.30am to 12.30am, Friday to Monday). Trains run every 15 minutes (every 30 minutes for the earliest and latest trains Friday to Monday). Standard fares are £15.50 single and £25.50 for return. Journey time is 45 minutes and trains stop at Tottenham Hale station before terminating at Liverpool Street station.

Stansted Airport by Coach

easyBus offers a high frequency, low cost express bus service between Central London and Stansted Airport. Services run every 20 minutes at peak time and every 30 minutes otherwise everyday, using a fleet of orange mini/midi coaches. Departures from London are between 3am and 10pm, and from Stansted between 7am and 1am the following day. There are stops at Hastingwood, South Woodford and Baker Street/Gloucester Place and Victoria. Fares start at £2 one-way and vary according to demand. You should book early to get the best fares. National Express operates a 24 hours service to Victoria Coach Station which stops at Golder's Green, Finchley Road Underground station, St John's Wood, Marylebone, Baker Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. Journey time is one hour and 40 minutes. This service runs at intervals of up to an hour. Standard tickets cost £10 single/£16 return.

Stansted Airport by Taxi

The cost of taxis is metered and displayed inside the cab. Extra charges, such as evening and weekend journeys are also shown here. A journey into central London will cost £70 to £80. Only use black taxi or reputable mini-cab and never use unauthorised drivers who offer their services at airports or stations. Ask the driver or mini-cab company how much your journey will cost beforehand.

Stansted Airport - Accessible Transport

Currently easyBus services on the Stansted route do not cater for wheelchairs due to the size of the buses.
