Vue d'ensemble

Michelin-starred Gymkhana restaurant and bar is Karam Sethi's latest venture, part of the Sethi family, owners of London restaurants Trishna, Bubbledogs and The Pearson Room.

The aesthetic for the Gymkhana identity is drawn from prevalent sports at India's Gymkhana such as cricket, polo and equestrian as well as expressions of tradition, opulence through the use of crests and ornate detailing.

The menu is modern Indian with a focus on the tandoor oven and sigri charcoal grill. Signature dishes include club-style nashtas (Indian all-day snack fare) such as Duck egg and white crab bhurji. Dishes such as Achari roe deer chops, pickling spices, clove smoke, mustard mooli are served roasted from the tandoor.

Great service and nice decor. As for the food I can't say that it was spectacular or tasted better than I've had before. They do however have a wide drink menu.

Every dish was perfect and had soooo much flavor! I would definitely... En savoir plus

Gymkhana is modeled (and named) after social and sporting clubs in the days of the Raj. As such, the vibe here is both unique and interesting. More "casual bistro" than "Michelin-starred restaurant". First off, I don't know much about Indian food. I eat 3 dishes usually. Tikka masala, butter chicken, and Korma.

Yikes the menu had stuff that wasn't... En savoir plus

Review: Always great service great and menus always explained really well. We had on Vegetarian sample menu and mixture of other dishes and you can share, this is the best bet as you get a lot of food and having the variety is great. The food options and flavours are second to none and not a fusion place but indian food done well with care and attention to... En savoir plus
