Once London’s first licensed casino, now an art deco-inspired Grade II listed building, Christopher’s is a glamourous American restaurant in Covent Garden.

The menu offers a full tour of the USA with Maryland crab cakes, Philadelphia steak sandwiches and New York cheesecakes, plus an extensive offering of delectable USDA Prime steak. At the Martini bar, sip on anything from a classic to a contemporary cocktail, including the signature Karamel Apple Pie-Tini.

I have eaten here twice now and I have loved it both times.

The service is great, as is the food.

I think there are certain items that are more value for money, as, items like the steak just come on their own and you have to order sides as an extra.

Popped in here for a quick drink during walk around town. Selections for cocktails was quite good especially for aged rum. Martini was excellent and service was attentive. En savoir plus

Sunday brunch here is fantastic. The pancakes, the avacado toast all delicious. Great location in Covent Garden. Reservations necessary.

We stopped in for lunch early on Saturday afternoon and had a lovely brunch of buckwheat pancakes and eggs benedict florentine. We sat in the bar as the restaurant was very busy and the service was very good. The food came really quickly and was good, just small portions for the price. Overall it was good but nothing special.
