If you can train it, you're on track for an adventure!

Flying in from the US, we planned to be in London for a week. With so much to do and see, we opted for the Eurostar to Paris and to Lyon. We stayed near Tower of London so leaving from King's Cross St. Pancras Station is conveniently closer than Heathrow or Gatwick.

Yes, you'll have to go through security here, but it's pretty quick and straightforward. No endless lines like those at... En savoir plus

Taking the Eurostar from London (St. Pancras) to Paris (Gare Du Nord) was what you expect from train ride: smooth, fast, on-time, comfortable seats, a clean train, plenty of luggage space, good amenities (two buffet cars and booze), and some great views. Boarding wasn't ideal ... and claustrophobics will hate going through the Chunnel.

I've gone from London to Paris by ferry, by hovercraft... En savoir plus
