London's longest standing Indian restaurant is holding the title for a damn good reason. My mouth may never be the same.
Ok, 1st thing - your entrance into the place is strange. The restaurant is on the second floor, but the hostess stand is on the ground level. You check in, and they send you to an elevator, up to the restaurant. The whole thing gives this Hong Kong Fuey kinda vibe.

A colleague of.mine had recommended this place and so I decided to pay a visit. Reservations are essential here as I discovered that this restaurant had 1 Michelin star to it's name. I came here alone on my first night in London, having seen it has a Michelin star. Basically they get very high marks for service, you are served by at least 5 different people, all wanting you to have a great experience. The manager came over more than once to check in as well.

There are few Indian restaurants with a Michelin star. That is too bad. But I know Veeraswamy deserves its.
I went for lunch and ordered a "mocktail," something more restaurants should be doing. The basil and apple juice mocktail was one of the most exquisite nectars that I have ever put to my lips.
