Hakkasan Mayfair is set over two floors. The lower ground floor invites guests to the traditional Hakkasan setting, surrounded by intricate wooden screens allowing intimate dining, whilst the ground floor brings a combination of relaxed atmosphere and a vibrant bar, encouraging guests to indulge in an inspired environment.

We're visiting London from LA and have been to the Hakkasan in Beverly Hills before it closed down.
I've heard great things about Hakkasan (mostly regarding the Las Vegas location) from other (disclaimer: non-Asian) friends...and while we prefer authentic Cantonese/Taiwanese/Sichuan cuisines, I can appreciate the place for "Asian fusion" restaurants...every now and then, I'll even go to PF... Except for the Dim Sum tasting starter which deserved 5+ stars, the remainder of the food and wine was utterly disappointing.
The baby ribs for the second starter were decent, but the chefs had forgotten to remove the membrane at the bottom of the ribs - a rookie mistake for any baby rib pro!
The Peking Duck style main course and the desserts were plain.

Was here on a Saturday night at 11pm... the food was ok.. I wouldn't call it goood, just ok.. the chicken tasted like regular chicken I can get at the store with a Tikka masala taste to it... the shrimp tasted more like Thai than Chinese with a coconut milk taste..
