Musuem is actually about 3/5th Winston Churchill museum vs War Rooms

You are taken into the actual war rooms underground where many meetings took place in WWII. I feel that most of the museum is dedicated to the life of Winston Churchill. There are a collection of his personal belongings and snippets of him speaking. Although the Churchill museum section is a bit confusing to navigate it is informative and interesting.

The audio guide gives some additional information and insight.

I would've like to learn more about the scrambling used for the transcontinental phone that linked to the US. I thought the audio guide said I would learn more about it but we never did. Also the enigma machine, while displayed, was not explained in enough detail for my liking.

This is is simply one of the most fascinating museums I have ever seen - because this is where so much truly important history has taken place. You can see the rooms, the equipment and the furnishings virtually as they were in WWII. Where else can you see that real life history? The expanded Churchill museum is fascinating as well - you are able to zero in on dates, times and specific events in Churchill's life. I have been to this museum more than once and I will go back again.

The Cabinet War rooms in conjunction with the Churchill museum is well worth taking the time. There's some really great stuff on Churchill's life and life underground in that location.

I especially liked the way Churchill's life was presented...interactive and interesting approach. If you want to learn about Churchill...this is the place.

Small children wouldn't enjoy this and you would want to spend time here.

A must-see during any visit to London

This has to be one of the most realistic "museums" I have ever been to; the only thing missing is the smoke of Mr. Churchill's cigar. The audio guide is free with your paid admission and you can...

This has to be one of the most realistic "museums" I have ever been to; the only thing missing is the smoke of Mr. Churchill's cigar.

The audio guide is free with your paid admission and you can complete the whole tour in about two hours. Information here is from the serious to the whimsical, focusing not only on the historical background of the Blitz but the personalities behind it as well.

This is one attraction that truly has to be seen to be experienced, reading books and watching DVDs just won't cut it.

Don't leave London without a visit.
