This is a very convenient underground station that is close to Trafalgar Square and The Strand.
I used Charing Cross a few times during my stay in London and I liked the location of it and the fact that the National Rail is there as well. Charing Cross tube station is very conveniently located on the Strand, close to Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. Both the Bakerloo and Northern lines (Charing Cross branch only) service this station, making it a great place to meet friends. The station is fairly vast so it can take a few minutes to get to your platform, but the location can't be beaten. more

I suspect there will soon be more check-ins at Charing Cross station as it is the first Underground station with wi-fi access. This busy station is located under Trafalgar Square, which is noted for its easy access to the SoHo theatre district at the National Portrait Gallery.
