1. Brick Lane Jazz Festival

Start off the 2025 music festival season with the soothing and eclectic sounds of Brick Lane Jazz Festival. This popular event brilliantly showcases London’s bubbling underground music scene, with performances from new and established, genre-defying artists. 24-27 Apr

2. Polygon Live LDN

This year, experience the UK's first spatial audio festival: Polygon Live LDN. Step inside the fully covered domes that will transform Crystal Palace Park into an immersive, multisensory playground for an unparalleled live music experience, featuring 200 speakers and synchronised lighting all around the audience. Acclaimed artists and DJs that have already been announced include Arooj Aftab, Cosmo Sheldrake, Gold Panda and Jon Hopkins. 2-4 May

3. Wide Awake

Discover up-and-coming talent at Wide Awake in Brockwell Park, showcasing artists from a variety of genres with Irish rap group, Kneecap, to headline. Consider upgrading to a VIP ticket for fast-track entry and access to a bespoke bar, food options and a viewing platform for the main stage. 23 May

4. GALA

Head south to Peckham Rye Park where you’ll find some of the biggest names in electronic music at GALA with past years' performers including DJ EZ, Folamour and Job Jobse. Join the crowds of party people in the sun and let the good vibes take you late into the night during the festival's 10th edition. 23-25 May

5. Project 6 Festival

Get ready for a day to remember at Project 6 Festival from Rinse FM, featuring sounds of garage, grime, house and jungle. Venture to Brockwell Park and enjoy a mix of big names and emerging artists which last year included CASISDEAD, Shy FX and Katy B. May TBC

6. We Are FSTVL

Head to Dagenham for We Are FSTVL and move to beats from the biggest names in electronic dance music. Last year's stacked lineup featured Eric Prydz, Chase and Status, Jamie Jones and more. May TBC

7. Cross The Tracks Festival

Celebrate an early summer start with music from Michael Kiwanuka, Jordan Rakei and more, plus craft beer and street food, at Cross The Tracks Festival. This one-day event brings the sounds of soul, funk and jazz to south London's Brockwell Park. 25 May

8. City Splash

Move your feet to dub, roots and dancehall music at City Splash, a one-day festival celebrating the musical heritage of Caribbean and African communities in the UK. The first wave artists announced for 2025 include Tarrus Riley, Spice and The Compozers. 26 May

9. Mighty Hoopla

Sing your heart out at Mighty Hoopla, an unashamedly pop-loving festival in Brockwell Park. Popular with London’s LGBTQ+ community, this festival encourages all to have fun without judgement. 10. Lambeth Country Show

Get a taste of rural fun as the Lambeth Country Show returns to Brockwell Park. Catch sheepdog and owl displays, homegrown flower and vegetable competitions, and cool craft stalls. You can also tuck into delicious organic food while the best live afrobeat, ska, reggae and folk music performers keep you entertained. 7-8 Jun

11. LIDO Festival

Get tickets to Victoria Park's new music festival taking place over two weekends in June, LIDO Festival. The exciting lineup celebrates huge names and globally loved artists, with performances from the likes of London Grammar, Jamie xx, Celeste, Turnstile, Charli xcx and Róisín Murphy. 7 and 13-15 Jun

12. Hampton Court Palace Festival

13. Meltdown

14. British Summer Time Hyde Park

Check out the stellar international artists on stage during British Summer Time, taking place in Hyde Park over three summer weekends. The lineup for 2025 includes Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Sabrina Carpenter and Hugh Jackman. 16. Big Smoke Festival

17. Kew the Music

Enter the haven of Kew Gardens as Kew the Music brings international indie, rock and pop music artists to the open-air stage over several summer evenings. Enjoy the music of UB40, Alison Moyet and more from your own picnic blanket in 2025. 9-13 Jul

18. Summer Series Somerset House

19. Wireless

20. Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope takes over Alexandra Palace with a programme packed with live music, DJs and comedy, as well as a dedicated family area with arts and crafts, theatre and circus activities. This year's lineup includes Faithless, Goldie and Eats Everything. 12 July

22. Junction 2

23. Ealing Blues Festival

Head to the leafy suburb for the annual Ealing Blues Festival. This community-run event attracts international stars on the blues circuit, alongside the best local talent. In between sets, browse stalls selling crafts and incredible food. Jul TBC

24. Visions Festival

26. Uptown Festival

Bring the family and friends for a boogie at Uptown Festival in Blackheath, where musical acts span all the genres and the fun atmosphere brings people together. Plus, all activities including rides and meet and greets are included in the ticket price. 27 Jul

27. Labyrinth on the Thames

Check out this exciting new music festival set within the spectacular grounds of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. Taking place over the first two weekends of August, Labyrinth on the Thames promises epic performances from top artists including Grammy Award-winning South African DJ and producer Black Coffee and celebrated dance music DJ FISHER. 31 Jul-10 Aug

28. 51st Festival

Dance to the pioneers of house music and breakthrough acts at 51st Festival, with performers hailing from the UK, Europe and the Americas. Explore all things house with sounds of garage, disco, afro and soul filling the air. 2 Aug

29. South Facing Festival

South Facing Festival ensures the party never ends, with two weeks of outdoor concerts at the iconic Bowl amphitheatre in Crystal Palace Park. The gigs on offer span the musical spectrum, and 2025's performers include Basement Jaxx and Flackstock. 8-23 Aug

30. Maiden Voyage

Dance to the sound of house, garage and techno music at Maiden Voyage, a one-day festival in Lee Valley Showground. Each stage is specially curated from the likes of Phonox and The Cause, two of London’s best-loved clubs. 9 Aug

32. Hospitality in the Woods

Grab your friends and head south-east to Beckenham Place Park where Hospitality in the Woods celebrates all things drum and bass. Expect a genre-defining day with sets from Kings of the Rollers, Flava D, Mungo's Hi-fi and many more. Aug TBC

33. Eastern Electrics

Join the good vibes at the one-day Eastern Electrics festival, a delight for lovers of dance, techno and bass. In previous years, this popular clubbing event has taken summer fun to the next level with a pool stage for festival-goers to paddle in. Aug TBC

Pack a picnic and head to Battersea Park in Concert where you can enjoy a selection of magnificent live music acts and delicious food stalls. Watch the sun set to a live soundtrack from the likes of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London African Gospel Choir. Aug TBC

35. Waterworks

Feel the beat at Waterworks, an electronic music festival in Gunnersbury Park. It takes place in mid-September to see off the summer season, and the lineup boasts an extensive list of local and international DJs. 13 Sep

36. Pitchfork Music Festival

Lose yourself in the wide selection of genres and artists on the bill at multi-venue Pitchfork Festival London, the younger sibling of the original festival based in Chicago. Expect alternative, indie, electronic, dance and beyond at some of London's coolest spots. Nov TBC

37. EFG London Jazz Festival
