Classical music in London

London is steeped in classical music history, with classical concerts in London having been held for centuries. 

London attracts some of the world’s best classical music talent who perform at the likes of Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Wilton’s Music Hall, Royal Opera House, Royal Festival Hall and Barbican. 

One highlight of the classical music calendar is the BBC Proms series of concerts, with tickets from as little as £6 throughout the summer months. This festival culminates in the popular Last Night of the Proms concert held at the Royal Albert Hall and is also screened live in Hyde Park.
