Used books, going to support the buddhist centre round the corner.
A little cramped, a little too helpful, a little overwhelming.
A lot cheap, a completely random selection, and cheap (50p/£1) and FREE books in boxes outside.
And stuff you might actually read as well.

Jambala, the London Buddhist Centre's second-hand bookshop is one of their various enterprises in this area. It's an old-style crowded bookshop and they also sell a few clothes, cards, DVDs, that kind of thing. The stock is mostly decent with some tat (albeit suitably priced tat g). Plenty of fiction, as well as those self-help books. There's even a sofa to sit on now!

Good charity shop for books. Irregular Opening hours.
This shop has lots of books and also some videos, dvd, games etc. The prices are reasonable £2 being a typical price for a fiction book. This shop being associated with the buddhist centre on the corner of Roman Road and Globe Road there are lots of self help / philosophy books.
