It really pains me to have to write this review but our last night in London found Kristen, Scott(14) and Kate(12) wanting some more pub food. We searched Yelp/Open Table and yes TripAdvisor and based on Open Table reviews, it is a pub and they had 7:30 PM open, we decided to try the New Inn. Finally we found a cozy and central location to stay when we visit London. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. The Gastro pub is cozy and delightful. The room clean and comfortable. We cannot wait to visit again! more
Very nice little pub, food is good, cocktails are well made, service is excellent. Decor is traditional pubish! Nephews fish and chips were excellent as was my old fashioned...the hamburgers were well cooked and on a very nice roll. more
Well what can I say, I read the reviews and bought a zoo voucher. I couldn't wait to try the food. And!!!! Well what a let down, the starter was more smoked salmon than o have ever seen anywhere. Wrapped with cheese. However I am a little bit of a connoisseur in this area, and it was very average smoked salmon. Just goes to show that quantity doesn't really mean too much. The New Inn. Sort of a mixed bag here. It's a very niche place. People will either love or hate it.
