Came here a good few months ago for a late sunday dinner, and really enjoyed it. Having recently dined in a not too far away Michelin star Gastropub, I honestly felt this was a better experience and very much value for money. Came here with a friend of mine who lives in the area. I had the beef burger. I liked the combination of the cheese and the other ingredients, pickles, tomatoes, etc. The bun was nice and buttery. The food here was simply delicious.
First course of mackerel was really good and the main of mutton cooked 3 ways was excellent. Toasted rice pudding with ice cream. Yum
