About

Praised for its 'exceptionally fine cooking' by Fay Maschler in The Evening Standard and awarded 5 stars by Time Out, Claude's Kitchen serves refreshingly rustic but creative British food. Having worked at Petersham Nurseries and Club Gascon, Claude Compton's menu is led by lovingly sourced British ingredients: all meat is organic and free-range, and the fish comes in daily from small boats in Cornwall. Complemented by the lengthy wine and cocktail list, the exquisitely presented food is served against a backdrop of rustic stone walls and chic wooden furnishings.

Other than the wine, everything is... more

I can't understand poor reviews sometimes, Claude's is great, fantastic to take a date and appear really cool. My boyfriend and I came here for our 6 month anniversary, and although it has ranked poorly on Yelp, it has been ranked as a top Romantic place to eat in London (TimeOut) and has favourable popular reviews on other sites.

We tend to cook for ourselves, so going out is always tainted with "I could make this". However, we couldn't say that about our time at Claude's Kitchen. They have such... more
