I was looking for a more upscale traditional London pub experience and this one hit the spot! Came for a late lunch and made it just before the kitchen closed. I'm surprised this place only got 3.5 stars overall. I didn't realize it was considered an upscale pub, but the food is definitely upscale, fresh, and extremely well done. I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident because I was hungry. The place was nice because the restaurant was big and cozy. The only problem I had was with the food, the fish I had wasn't all that. Now, on the flip side, the spicy pasta was delicious and the desert was ok.. more

I've been here before but not for a while. On this occasion it was with a group of colleagues from work, one if whom had made a reservation. It seems that reservations are popular here as most of the place was reserved.

Stopped in the family, exhausted after the journey from the US and hungry. The place is a slightly upscale pub. In Pimlico, half the restaurants are closed on a Sunday afternoon, so we were very pleased that The Loose Box was open.
