Yes it is a chain restaurant, and I always try to support more local establishments, but this place is a secret guilty pleasure. The pizzas are fantastic and they have an assortment of tasty appetizers and desserts as well.

Pizza Express have never been know for their generous pizza sizes, and considering the quality and the price, you'll be better off going to an individual local pizzeria, rather than this overpriced high street chain. Personally, I could never understand the fuss surrounding Pizza Express, as the quality of their pizzas are nothing worth writing home about.

Went for the first time last Friday to this Pizza Express. The service was generally friendly but not always very fast. I payed almost GBP 10 for just a pizza plus drinks on top of that.

A lovely restauant with friendly staff and the usual Pizza express menu. The pizzas are great and have unusual toppings and are freshly cooked. Save room for the pudding which are super and huge icecreams! This can get quite busy at the weekends with families so worth getting there early. Good selection of wines and drinks. It is conveniently situated in the shopping area. more
