Top 5 reviews of Balham Bowling Club
This place is so big, and they don't seem to mind if you take a dining room table even if you're only having drinks. Or at least nobody stopped us. They have a good selection of beers, including Blue Moon (though I didn't have that, since I'll be back in the US soon enough), and lots of different rooms with different levels of crowdedness. This place is huge. Not large, not "wow, what a spacious spot" but huge. Being as it did used to be an actual bowling club it has rooms off of rooms off of rooms and a sunny garden to boot!
We've been here for drinks and also a few times for the pub quiz. The pub quiz is on Tuesdays upstairs. The upstairs room is clearly a bit past its prime, though I believe they do hire it for weddings,... more

Needless to say, all of this is inconsequential, because the place is so unique. I don't know anywhere else like it,... more
