Bottle Apostle does so many things so well, it's a wonder that people don't flock in from all points west to take advantage of something here.

As a traveler I'm a sucker for good service and selection. The former trumps the latter. Bottle Apostle provided both. I was on a mission to bring home a few samples of London's finest craft brews. After stopping at several other "bottle shops" in the central London area I landed upon the Apostle.

Super lovely wine shop with a wide selection and knowledgeable friendly staff. They also have membership cards which remember what you have bought in the past. Really useful for when you forget the name of the epic bottle of Pinot you had a few months ago.
Cheapest bottles start at about £7 and they're very good value for the quality. more
This is one of the newest additions to Victoria Park Village - a boutique independent wine shop on the site of one of the original reasons to visit this area - Frocks restaurant, which closed earlier this year. bottle apostle has just opened in what was Frocks Restaurant on the edge of Victoria Park and 2 doors from the Ginger Pig.
It is an EXCELLENT wine shop.
