Was pleasantly surprised by The Roebuck. We walked over from Richmond Park's Richmond Gate side (NW) on a sunny Sunday.

At just about 2pm, I expected it to be stuffed to the brim with families looking for their traditional Sunday Roast, but we surprisingly scooped up a table straight away.

Standard pub menu (a burger, fish and chips, lamb/chicken/beef roast with all the fixings, a... more

Had the braised beef and bone marrow pie, absolutet mouth-watering. The meat was so tender and flavorful, the mashed potato was a bit lumpy though but I still finished it all off. It's one of our favourite pubs to go to for its great view, now the food will make us go back there more often. more

This pub was located close to our hotel in Richmond. It has a traditional pub atmosphere and a lovely view of the Thames. We enjoyed the fish (cod) and chips, beer and sticky toffee pudding. Also ordered the special - Philly cheese steak. Clearly they've never been to Philadelphia as this sandwich was served open face on brioche but it was tasty. Service was friendly. Would come again. more

Great pub with reasonable priced drinks. We paid £17 for a jug of Pimms & £3.80 for a pale ale pint.

The best thing is that you can take your drinks across to the park outside with the most amazing view. Watch the sunset then head inside for a meal.

They only have two vegetarian options and i had one of them. The Ploughmans Board- it was cheese, pickles, apple and bread plus an amazing... more
