Pearsons was established back in 1903 when Arthur and Stanley Pearson acquired a drapery business, which was to become Pearsons of Enfield. At this time the staff consisted of two sales ladies, two salesmen and a porter whose duties included delivering customers orders on his bicycle. This family owned and run business now employs more than 400 people and has stores in Enfield, Bishop's Stortford and East Barnet. A mixed bag of service here.. one assistant was too lazy to check my haberdashery cotton price. She actually told me it would be 'easier for her' if I went to the Haberdashery to pay. Then the next assistant did so much better, she went to check for me, gave me an additional discount on my sales purchase and wrapped the teapot extremely safely.. well done you! more

Ohh..all the designer dresses in Pearsons. There's Oasis and Warehouse, parisian designers..a good mix of everything.

You can buy a party dress at Pearsons no problem. Pearsons sells other stuff for the home and men's but I'm not interested in that.

What I want to say about this shop is that you'll like it because it is like John Lewis but cheaper. You can actually almost afford things in... more

Pearsons is a amazing business. I originally found them through twitter, one of my friends had retweeted a sale, and I decided to try them out. I couldn't believe what was on sale, and what the store sold. When talking to one of the assistants, she helped me with my decision to purchase some new slippers for me and my family.
