Came here with work collegues, as a table of about 8, on a Monday lunchtime. We were the only folk there.
Despite this, all steak dishes were off the menu.
To top that, they are serving fake pie -- their 'chicken and ham hock pie' is served in a dish with a pastry lid. I can't stand it when pub/restaurants do this. A pie has pastry all around!
I chose the sausage and mash instead of either... more
I went for the Sunday Roast.
It was decent, though nothing special (left hungry still) and a tad overpriced. But popular.
The pub was full on a Sunday just after the noon hour.
I'll return and try it for drinks at night, as the staff were friendly and the decor was very cool and particularly inviting to mid- to larger groups (big tables). more
Great little London pub. Cristi had the fish and chips, I had the salt beef sandwich. Both were great. Good beer selection and great service. Only complaint: My sandwich had American style fries, but at least Cristi's had proper chips. Plus: the scotch egg was REALLY good. more
Had a burger, chips (French fries), and a beer. Simple enough - but the burger and fries were pefect! Juicy, flavorful burger with a good bun and sauce ion the side. Also serves a very good Scotch egg. more
What a lovely pub - I can't believe it's taken me this long to find it! The Prince Regent served as a perfect meeting place before heading to an art exhibition around the corner on Marylebone Road. Conveniently located in equal distance from Baker Street and Regents Park stations, the place was heaving on a Friday night - but in a nice way.
We were lucky enough to grab a table downstairs... more
