Lovely little pub in Tuffnell Park that like a throwback to the quiet sedate days that we all used to think London was. It is a place where you can truly relax and spend a nice Sunday without being bothered by the irksome realities of of the tidal wave of humanity that is London life.

Standard British pub... didn't love it, didn't hate it. The staff was great, the food was okay (good presentation, below average flavours... sorry Star, my cod was waaayyy too salty. The pork belly is absolutely top notch, and service was faultless. Will be back soon. more
Been here a couple of times now, most recently last night. Each time it's been fairly empty, but the bartenders are friendly. I haven't tried the food, but it looks good.
Overall, it's a quiet, relaxing local - but expensive! Two and a half pints cost us just under 12 quid! Then again, we were drinking Hoegaarden... I'm just glad to have a local pub that serves a beer I love on tap.
This pub has recently had a bit of a refurb / takeover. The Sunday roast here is delicious. They have a small garden out back but since it hasn't really been warm enough to sit outdoors, sitting by the lovely fire is a great way to keep warm.
Bloody Marys are served in a mini jug, my kind of drink.
Lovely service, good décor and good music. more
