Head just outside of London to two equally beautiful places holding some of England's most prized possessions, namely Windsor Castle and the Roman Baths.
Start off in Windsor, and visit the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. The Queen is often found here on weekends, and its grounds have been host to many royal events including the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in St George's Chapel.
Next stop is Bath, where walking the streets can often feel like walking through one of local celebrity Jane Austen's novels. As well as the author of Pride & Prejudice, Bath is of course home to one of the most well preserved remains of Roman life. Head to the Roman Baths and take a sip of the waters, said to have great healing properties, in the Pump Room.
End up back in London after a day of exploration and you'll still have time for dinner in the capital.
