The Tiger Who Came to Tea at The Savoy

About
Kids can tuck into a feast of teatime treats, inspired by Judith Kerr’s classic picture book The Tiger Who Came to Tea, at The Savoy.
The Grade II-listed hotel teamed up with HarperCollins Children’s Books to create the afternoon tea, launched in 2018 to mark the 50th anniversary of the treasured story.
Drawing inspiration from the tea that Sophie and her mummy share with the visiting tiger in the book, kids can munch on sandwiches, tiger-striped scones and pastries that playfully reference moments in the story.
Priced from £40 per child aged from five to 12-years-old, The Tiger Who Came to Tea at The Savoy is available for children at the first two sittings of afternoon tea in the Thames Foyer from Monday to Friday.
