Based in Fitzrovia, Mere (pronounced ‘Mary’) is a contemporary restaurant blending French and South Pacific influences.
The basement restaurant is all soft lighting and well-spaced tables, while a buzzing upstairs bar provides an ideal pre- or post-dinner hangout. There’s also a private dining space available for up to 10 guests.
Menus feature six dishes for each course that change with market availability.
With 17 years of experience, Monica Galetti rose to fame in 2009 when she joined TV cooking show, Masterchef: The Professionals as a judge. She has also authored two books, Monica’s Kitchen and The Skills. Before opening Mare, David Galetti was head sommelier at Le Gavroche.
