Arrived at 23:05, small restaurant, staff welcomed me and my partner and seated us.
No more than 12 people were in the restaurant at this point and 4/5 waiters, so you'd believe this exceptional ratio of staff to customers would mean exceptional service... Wrong!
We waited 20 minutes with empty glasses on our table, no eye contact from waiters before I gave up and stood up to leave.
EN: I really liked the chicken suvlaki here, they add some sort of reddish sauce that I've never tasted before but it's really good. Service was exceptional first time. Minus one star for the second time I tried to eat here and the employee there cut me off in the middle of my take-out order and said, "erm, we're closing actually, so...no" . Firstly the food which is primarily what I came for is fresh, clean and very tasty. It's not greasy or messy just tidy eating on the whole was my first thought. The lamb souvlaki was very nice.
The staff was very nice and friendly. The only sticking point was that the space was very cramped to sit when eating altogether. more
Oh my god real suvlaki and Cretan salad!!!! Ok I will tone down the excitement to write this review. There are lots of restaurants claiming to be 'real' Greek and I must say they are not! This one however definitely is.
The obligatory blue and white and Ionian column theme might be there to honour the cliches but the graffiti on the wall saying 'sex, suvlaki and rock'n'roll' is definitely... more
