Tapas place.

Positioned above its capacity to deliver.

Food is very average, not very nicely presented, little portions (even for tapas), and not great flavour.

However, prices are insanely high, so the whole evening was very disappointing. more

Good but not great. The wine is decent but the service is really slow, the tables are a bit cramped, and the bathroom is apparently outside and down the street. more

Sadly Canela failed to express me. I was taking into account that it was their soft launch after their revamp so I forgive the fact that they are probably still working on building an atmosphere. Update since 2012:

Now more of a Portuguese restaurant it's definitely looking much more upscale than it did 2 years ago and with prices to match the new look.

(3.5 stars to be exact) Ordered bacalhau a brás and a pork chop sandwich, which taste ok but not great, and in our opinion a bit over priced. The atmosphere is nice and service is good. more
