My local pub when at work. Great beers, brilliant staff, a wildly eclectic pub menu (try the prawn buns, hot, sticky, and not expensive). The Lyttleton is a dark pub inside, good for a quiet respite in the day, but it gets lively on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings with a good crowd, DJs, live music. more
Went here to catch up with an old friend and it was spot on.
They have enough bar staff so that you get served straight away and a very good selection of drinks and local ales to chose from.

Went here on a Thursday night and it was DEAD. Lots of seating, stopped in for one pint and left. We probably only stopped in here to use the toilets. Dark decor, kinda creepy. If you're looking for more pub vibes this is the spot. more
Stopped here after a guys' dinner and before we all headed home. Nice selection of beers on tap and easy to get served with lots of bar staff. They had a live DJ as well, which made for a fun atmosphere. more
