I have mixed feelings about writing this review as this little El Vino feels like a well kept secret Friday spot which I'm about to out. The historic El Vino Company (at least the Fleet Street shop) has been around for over a 125 years and used to be the prime watering hole of gabby editors, journalists, and reporters.
This one right next to the cacaphony that is Blackfriars pub on a Friday... more
Nice little spot and certainly friendly but the wine list needs a lift in my humble view. The wines available by the glass were pretty pedestrian. I had the Rioja and it was mid range at best. New wine list needed. more
Lovely little cosy wine bar with a great selection of wines, it's quite easy to spend a fortune drinking the evening away. more
Id give this place 3.5 stars.
