Will write more later as Exams are coming up but in short, this place is excellent. A true Crystal Palace gem.

We had the octopus and the fish stew. So delicious we almost cleaned the plates! Service is very friendly and welcoming and genuinely so. more

I have recently discovered this gem last week and it's been on my mind. The flavours and most importantly, the texture of the crisp whole sea bass left me wanting more. The atmosphere was welcoming and I had a great time with my husband. I will definitely be back. more

Last Saturday night found us heading into the deep south to celebrate our old pal Esther's birthday at A Torre. We were 7 strong and had taken the precaution of booking a table which was wise as this is a very popular local restaurant.

Fish, Fish, Fishy Fish.

Since falling off the vegetarian cart back on to the pescetarian way of life (yes those pesky-tarians) I have begun to enjoy the wonderful world of sea dwellers - on my plate.

Friendly home style matriarchal made Portuguese food. As much as I think of my own mother, a wonder, a multi talented dynamo, even she cuts corners sometimes. Occasionally burning things, throwing in the occasional bit of frozen veg. She's not superwoman, but I grew up loving her Latin Eastern cooking.
