I adored my time at Brew. Having arrived for their Winter Set Menu special, I took a chance having dinner at a brunch restaurant.
The menu had a variety of items, a diverse yet concise set menu and a few specials written up on the board. The servers were extremely friendly as I visited with my dog, who was amply doted on.

Just had such a great brunch. 5 stars for food, no stars for coffee (so sad as it's Allpress, how'd they get it so wrong?). Highly recommended the corn fritters (ask for it with eggs!). Service friendly but a bit vague (couple of mistakes but with a smile and corrected). Most expensive brunch in south London I've come across, so keep that in mind - food worth the price for a treat! more
I live close by Brew, so REALLY want to like it because it's so convenient. I've been perhaps 4 or 5 times, but every single time I've been here the staff are so bored / rude / uninterested... it's just depressing.
They use Allpress beans and the coffee is average, very average.
This place used to be call The Pantry and was such a great venue for breakfasts / coffee. Such a shame they sold... more
I have to admit that when the sun is shining over London it doesn't take much to have a great day out but I also have to be honest to Brew because the meal we had was definitely superb.
