It is still hit & miss at this place, depending on who is cooking. It was excellent two weeks ago but was very disappointing last night. Both chunky chips and fries arrived cold and the medium stakes arrived rare. If they want to stay successful, they really need to be consistent. more
Finally we tried their Galician Sirloin steaks tonight, but were totally utterly disappointed with the tough and chewy meat. They weren't worth the £18 price tag. Friendly service, fine food in a smart casual environment.
The food is fantastic - and the presentation was fine as well. My main was brought out on a wooden cutting board - the suace was served in a cow shaped gravy boat. They've put thought into the decor and presentation and it shows.

I really want to give more stars as I really liked the place but meat of the beef salad was tough, tasteless and difficult to chew. I think the chef let himself down by serving it. more
