It has a log fire. I like log fires. Spicy cider great but tiny amount. Not the kind of place you'll get your head kicked in. What's not to like? more
Rip off of the year: £15 Italian meat board which came with about 8 small slices of meat, a few marinated roasted cherry tomatoes and a smattering of chopped olives. Oh, and a sliced piece of toast. I worry what the small board looks like!! Go to Sainsbury's and get a packet of sliced deli meat. Cheaper and of equal quality.

Great traditional pub, good choice of various ales and the food is excellent, I've eaten here quite a few times and the menu always has something decent I've really enjoyed. Plus the bar snack option (3 for £10) is a good choice for finger food with friends. It can get very busy and can be hard to find a table which is a downside, but they do have a beer garden out the back.

3,5 stars. Came in on a Sunday afternoon with my friend and this place was packed. I feel like they could have done with a few extra servers who took away the dishes etc. Got the fish and chips which was good but nothing out of this world, but the chill atmosphere made for it. more
The food in here is absolutely delicious. They have quite big menu with great selection of tapas like starters/dishes and main courses. All nicely complimented by vast selection of craft beers and ales.
The place might get bit noisy when the game is on...but it is nicely split to two sections: section with the TV (noisy part) and section without the TV on the other side of the bar were you... more
