Ma’ Plucker knows a thing or two about chicken. This Soho eatery lets you tuck into chicken cooked three ways: buttermilk fried, chipotle roasted or slow and low pulled chicken, against a backdrop of R’n’B hits.
You can pair your choice with the likes of a brioche bun, house bun or maple waffle, and top it off with Ma’ Pluckers’ own sauces including chicken skin gravy, chipotle chilli or a maple chilli glaze.
They even do their own “afternoon tea”, encompassing mini versions of the three different chicken burgers, alongside the likes of cherry pie, mini doughnuts and a chocolate and corn flake Scotch egg – all accompanied by unlimited iced tea.

Don't be chicken, this is a spot to check out.
I've been by here a few times but never walked in. Shame too, because this is an excellent spot for excellent chicken.
It's small. But feels very at home intimate (mostly because it's decorated to look like the inside of a homey kitchen). The menu is small, but packed with options. It's basically all chicken, all the time, but you can get it in... more
Solid crispy fried chicken. Harder to find this in London than I had expected. It's expensive for what you get but if you are craving crispy fried chicken, this place is solid. The waffle was perfectly fine as well. Crisp outer with moist inside. The chicken skin gravy is a really good touch, flavourful but not too heavy. more

The venue is small and so is the menu but there are various options for each type of chicken. I ordered crispy coated chicken breast with salad along with barbecue sauce and a side of fries which was polished off completely. The wife... more
