Was taken here by a QPR fan ahead of a Saturday game. While it was a bit of a walk from the tube station, it was very large and a nice pub. I think I spied an outdoor area which always increases value in my book!
All in all, friendly service. Good tvs for those football fans. And the thai food was very good (4/5). more
Used to live in Shepherd's Bush. This place became our local after the sad demise of The Goldhawk, circa 2012. Not visited for almost a year. But for what it's worth, this is my take.
Really love this pub. Nice, friendly atmosphere, ... although can be a little much when QPR are playing at home. Real mix of people usually. Beer garden with television. Perfect for the World Cup. Also a couple... more
Went there for there quiz night on a Monday at 8:30 grabbed a bite to eat before hand. Most of the mains were £8.50 I had a beef stir fry and it was simple but good. more
The Crown and Sceptre is about a stones throw from my house, and thank goodness for this. This pub is tucked away in Shepherds Bush but is out hidden gem. A very clean, well decorated Fullers pub that has a full bar, fresh flowers on the tables, beautiful beer garden and authentic Thai menu. The food is out of this world. Crown & Sceptre is a perfectly okay, well-run, solid Fullers pub. It seems to veer on the side of sports pub (there was a big screen showing football when we were there) but it's inclusive of other pub pursuits too: the sole reason we were there was that it had scrabble, as well as a couple of other board games.
