With a combination of delicious food, great wines and a real ambience, Café Rouge has embodied the style and je ne sais quoi of French dining since it opened way back in 1989.Now with over 90 sites across the country it's just the place to mull over the morning papers with a cafe au lait and a croissant, pop in for a spot of lunch, share a post-work drink or relax over an evening meal. The menu covers a range of French classics from croques and baguettes, ideal for a quick and easy snack, to more substantial fare such as steak frites and boeuf bourguignon. Likewise, the wines are predominately French; many made by lesser known producers, and provide the perfect accompaniment to the food on offer. No hassle, no rush, no skinny- decaff-double-shot-to-go, just a vibrant atmosphere that moves with your moods throughout the day.

I met up with James here for lunch before taking the Underground to Heathrow for return to the US after my EuroTrip 2017.
I had the lunch which was OK and the coffee in the tiny cups.
There service was good and I like the location away from the noise of the station. more
Probably the worst English breakfast we had in London. The baked beans tasted totally different than what you expected for an English breakfast. Highly not recommend at all. And poor service! more
We were looking for a place to grab a quick dinner before an evening tour. Happened upon Cafe Rouge in the Victoria Station. What a great find!
Beef Bourgogne, crab n avocado, and pork medallions. All done really well. more
So yummy. One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in the area. The section is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful with the menu. more
The branch is just a symptom of everything wrong with dining out in UK. Mediocrity and mendacity is accepted as normal. A 'breakfast' that my own dog could have rustle up better, served by 'waiters' who don't really 'wait' more
