Shayona Restaurant


Shayona is a contemporary and authentic Indian vegetarian restaurant in the grounds of the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden.

The menu traverses the Indian sub-continent from the thalis of Gujarat and Rajasthan, the rich curries of North India and the Punjab to the street side chaats of Mumbai and the delectable dosas of South India.

The delicious sattvic vegetarian cuisine is consistent with the tenets of Vaishnav, Jain and Swaminarayan dietary requirements.

I am visiting from abroad and have tried quite a few restaurants in my 1 week here and have to say I was extremely pleased with the food and customer service! This is a fantastic place to eat, whether you're vegetarian or not (but fyi, if you fancy an alcoholic drink with your meal, this is not the place for you)

Set on the grounds of the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir (Temple) in Neasen, this is honestly a little piece of delicious heaven. The food and decor here has come a long way in the 20 years it has been open. I have to admit I have a soft spot for this location since I used to come here with my gran and great-gran when I was a nipper.
