Bringing French-style hamburgers to Fitzrovia, Big Fernand gives you the chance to craft your own “hamburgé” from a variety of meats, French cheeses and sauces. The bun is also top quality, having been made to the founder’s original recipe by a local bakery. Eat downstairs near the bustling counter, or head upstairs for a granny’s sitting room feel.

I really enjoyed my burger here but they have a long way to go on the service side of things!
Why I'll probably come back:
- The burgers *are* really good. Lots of my friends told me they love this place, I can see why.
- The staff are super sweet and friendly
- We came with a big group so they let us take over the whole of the upstairs section
- When they make your burger, they'll bring it... more
I'm a big fan of the burger scene in London and the one you can get here is among the best. Best burger in London really is The Lord Nelson and behind that for me is Honest burger. They were perfectly prepared medium and the taste exceeded our... more

Ordered le Bartholome which can be described bbq bacon cheese burger in simple terms... more
I'm a big fan of anywhere which will serve me a blue burger. Which is pretty rare (hehe!) in most parts of London. But Big Fernand were happy to oblige and the patty (albeit smaller than expected) was perfectly pink and delicious, and clearly made of good quality meat.

Why didn't I love this? I feel like I was supposed to.
A few of us came here for a burger after happy hour drinks at Delancey's nearby. The concept is 'better than fast food' fast food so you order at the counter, pay and take your food to one of the tables. We got a very giggly, flirty French man serving us which was rather distracting but not unpleasant. The staff seem very sweet and put... more
