Jar Kitchen’s seasonal menu focuses on using quality ingredients, locally sourced. The day-to-early evening restaurant will open for breakfast*, lunch and pre-theatre dinner. In keeping with Jar Kitchen’s ethos, most food and drink will be made from scratch, including the granola, yoghurt, kombucha and ginger beer. The restaurant also has plans to start smoking its own meat.

Jar Kitchen is a real gem. I'd passed by this adorable place so many times on my way to school and finally got a chance to try it today. I decided to go for the pre-theatre menu in true London spirit before seeing Phantom of the Opera, and I did not regret it one bit.

Jar Kitchen, Covent Garden - once upon a time when I didn't have a kitchen, had an early start to the day, hot breakfast was something I looked forward to. Brought my partner to jar kitchen for brunch and i have to say i am a little disappointed with my overall experience eating there. We ordered the french toast and a plate of sourdough bread with baked beans, a poached egg and pork belly.

Amazing food and ambiance all around. It's a real gem for bringing out of town guests or if you are looking to impress a date, and they will be wowed. Every dish we had was delicious. My main was lamb and it was divine. Melt in your mouth and accompanied by really savory sides. My friends' had unforgettable pork belly and duck confit.
