The waiter who served me looked as unenthused as they come and sure enough he gets my whole steak order wrong (different type of steak, not cooked to the level I requested and not with the sauce I had chosen). Central London is often cramped and busy with crowds constantly in-your-face, but this venue, rumored to have been converted from an old hospital, is super spacious, beautifully decorated, and operates with a lot of class, a dash of hipster-ness, and very little ego.
