Wow. What a beautiful park - I stumbled across it tonight on my walk home and just fell in love with it!

The band stand located nearest Canada Water station is truly stunning - especially on a sunny, peaceful evening.

There's large open fields perfect for group sports, as well exercise equipment for those going solo. There's also park areas for children to play in and a cafe for those... more

How can I possibly not have written a review of my fave (and local) park yet? I spend quite a lot of time in this green haven of Bermondsey. I had gone... more

Open green spaces are great. This is one of them. Southwark Park is a pretty good palce to chill when the sun decides to show it's face in London. There is enough grass for you to find a space to make your own, and quite a lot of shade for those of us with pastey skin :-(. Also, there is a cafe, a pretty decent play area for kids and (randomly) an art gallery. more
