After a most pleasant afternoon sitting out in the rare British summer sunshine soaking in the rays, Jules led out merry band in search of some indoor drink and toilets!

Stumbled on this nice little pub on my way back to the hotel, tucked away on a side street in posh Mayfair. Had a pint of Guinness for a reasonable price and sat by the open window. There was a sizable afterwork crowd standing around outside, no outdoor seating.

The Iron duke is a small pub tucked away on a quiet mews in the middle of Mayfair and you wouldn't know it was there and you would do very well to find it if you didn't know it was there. Small and cosy at times but due to its location busy and bustling at other times due to its popularity with the local workforce. Personally I think that it is an o.k. pub.
