Try modern Japanese fish and seafood dishes at this South Kensington restaurant, which focuses on a “head to tail” dining concept. Choose from a variety of dishes conjured up from all parts of a fish, including umami mackerel bone and fish skin or cod cheek with chilli amazu.

I was fairly excited to come here for my birthday and booked a a table 2 weeks in advance. I even planned what i was having in advance. Imagine my surprise when the waitress pooh-poohed my order and said that "that wouldn't be enough, the portions are small". I did take that into account at the beginning, but why assume that I didn't know? She also tried to sell us hard on some sake which we... more

Yashin Sushi is no ordinary Japanese restaurant but one that is evolving, traditional dishes with a modern twist without taking too much of its heritage away. The food was exquisite, challenging pairings of foods with superior creativity. Having ingredients cooked in a way you have never had before made each dish feel unique. Dishes weren't just tasty but visually stunning.
