Ok, short review:
It's cozy! There are little booth-y spots, and tables for two and corners tucked away for day drinking. I've never struggled to find a seat, which is so, so nice. Always bustling, never OMGGETMEOUTOFHERETOOMANYPEEPS.
The chips are a delight! (BONUS: can get 'frites'-style or chunky!)

Quick pit stop for a drink after dinner and a walk around Primrose Hill. The Spread Eagle is a very pretty, pub - even the toilets look good. Shame the lighting is a bit too harsh ...

Friendly pub. Good for a quick drink. Lots of tables dotted around the outside, always with pretty flowers or plant pots displayed on them. Good choice of lagers. Gets very busy being so close to Camden Town. more
You will definitely NOT leave this place hungry! The serving size of each plate is massive. I recommend the Fish N Chips. They're very good and not too expensive. A great pub to stop in, if you can find a table. more
I'm a bit of a food snob. I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and I am constantly disappointed I've never found a pub in California with anything close to "good food" over the last year and a half I've been here about 8 times. Every time the service is spot-on, the food is REALLY GOOD (elevated but still traditional) and the vibe/decor is welcoming, sheik, and classic. I really love this place more
